The Library and the American Red Cross will host a blood drive on Saturday, July 6 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Pollak Room of the Library. It's party time! Come to the Block Party at St. Norbert on Saturday, June 8th at Walters & Meadow in Northbrook. Rain or Shine! Admission is $5 but after 7 p.m. $10. A 5k race begins at 7 a.m. The Beer Garden & Grill opens at 3 p.m. Live music and a fun time for all. Plan to attend. The Northbrook Public Library is hosting a food drive to benefit the Northfield Township Food Pantry beginning June 1 – 30. Show your community spirit and bring in a food donation for the Northfield Township Food Pantry. The food drive is part of the Library’s commitment for 4th of July to honor the parade theme “Unity through Community”. The next time you are coming to the Library, please bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the food pantry. Donations will be collected at the Library Circulation desk.
