Don’t throw away your used batteries.  Bring them to the library.  Got a new cell phone?  Bring the old one to the Library.  Got a new prescription for your glasses?  Recycle the old ones at the library.  Drop your old used batteries, old cell phones and prescription eyeglasses in the bins in our lobby and help the community.  Old glasses are collected for the Lion’s Club, the Village is collecting used batteries and the Cook County Sheriff’s Department collects old cell phones for seniors.
