The library has two 15" MacBook Pros for Northbrook patrons to use in-house! Both laptops come with apps like standard Apple apps, Office for Mac (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Adobe's Creative Cloud collection, which includes Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and more. If you're in high school or older, stop at the Periodicals Desk on the second floor with your Northbrook library card and a current ID to check one out for up to 3 hours.
The stuffed animals of Northbrook came to the Library last night, and boy, did they have a blast! After getting to know each other over pizza, they did a painting craft to take home, played on a zipline, dressed up, put on a puppet show, and enjoyed a PJ storytime. They all stayed up way past their bedtimes, but they eventually went to sleep. Everyone had a really good time and made a few new friends. Take a look at our slideshow to see for yourself!

We can't circulate the books until the 22nd of October, but I have them! They are here, locked away, under guard, totally secure - so don't try anything.
