Fadi was dragging his little sister Mariam through the crush of people escaping Afghanistan when she accidentally let go of his hand, just as Fadi was snatched up into the truck. With Taliban soldiers closing in, the truck sped away, leaving Mariam behind. Now Fadi is in the U.S., hatching a plan to find his sister.
