    Tracy Gossage leads a discussion of "The Family Fang" by Kevin Wilson. Copies of the book are available at the 3rd floor Reader Services desk.

    Forced to star in their parents' performance art as children, a pair of grown siblings return home after personal crises and learn that one last show is underway.

    Join us for our Make It! June kick-off where we'll focus on bike safety. Bring your bike for a free inspection from Northbrook’s Performance Bicycle, then register your bike with the Northbrook police department. The first 30 visitors can wrap their bikes with an EL wire kit or add some glow-in-the-dark bike spoke beads, while supplies last. Held outside the library. Registration not required.

    Bring your basic sewing skills and a pair of knit gloves and we'll show you how to create your own turn signal gloves that light up when you close your hand. Registration required.

  • Homebrewing
    Sunday, June 7, 2015 - 2:00pm

    Learn how to make beer in your own home. Participants will get an introduction to equipment, ingredients, and the brewing process with a live brewing demonstration. We will meet outside of the library in the parking lot. Space is limited and registration is required. Must be at least 21 years old to participate.
