  • Computer Hackers (grades 6-12)

    It's not what you think. A hacker is someone who enjoys building, rebuilding, and modifying software; someone who enjoys testing limits and seeing what is possible. This is exactly what we are going to do using tiny computers called Arduino (ar-dwee-no) microcontrollers. We will program them to do a number of cool things using LED lights, circuits, sensors and maybe even lasers. This program is made possible by the generous donation from PotashCorp.

    Geared toward absolute beginners who have never tried 3D modeling or CAD software. We'll show you how to use free CAD software to design a very small, simple object that can be printed during class. Class size is limited and registration required.
