    Having a hard time finding fellow romance and chick lit lovers? Feel like you have to keep your reading tastes a secret? Come join a book discussion series where we focus on the books we are all reading.

    The August book is "MWF Seeking BFF: My Yearlong Search for a New Best Friend": When Rachel Bertsche first moves to Chicago, she realizes that her new life is missing one thing - friends. She goes on 52 friend-dates, one per week for a year, in hopes of meeting her new Best Friend Forever. The author, Rachel Bertsche, will join us for the discussion!

    Registration is required. Come to Reader Services to register and pick up a copy of the book, or call 847-272-2958 and have us set aside a copy for you.

    Do you have a story to tell?

    Learn the art of electronic book publishing and be ready to experiment with a variety of media (embedded pictures, music, movies, links) to help tell your tale. In this 4-week program, we’ll focus on helping you craft a strong story and turn it into a multidimensional ebook, downloadable from the library’s website. Please come with a written story (even if it’s rough).

    Must attend all 4 sessions. Final stories due on August 15th.
