  • The Grim Game - Wednesday Classic Film Series
    Wednesday, September 16, 2015 - 1:00pm
    Auditorium

This film survived only in fragments until a full print was discovered in a private collection purchased direct from the Houdini estate. Framed for the murder of his uncle, Harvey Hanford (Harry Houdini) breaks out of his jail cell and goes off in pursuit of the gang responsible who have also kidnapped his fiancée (Ann Forrest). The chase acts as a showcase for a series of daredevil stunts, including a straitjacket escape suspended from a skyscraper and a mid-air plane collision.
