  • Gentle Yoga

    Due to high demand, we are now offering TWO yoga sessions. Attend either the 9:30 session or the 11:00 session. Space in each session is limited to the first 50 people.

    Yoga instructor Olga Rudiak leads a series of yoga sessions for improved physical strength, relaxation and mental clarity. Exercises are done in a chair or standing not on the floor.

  • Hackers: Arduino (grades 4-12)

    It's not what you think! A hacker is someone who enjoys building, rebuilding, and modifying software; someone who enjoys testing limits and seeing what is possible. In this Hackers we will be tinkering with Arduino microcontrollers and try programming them to do a number of cool things using LED lights, circuits, and sensors. All participants of the Hackers class will be eligible to check out Arduino Kits from the library. This program is made possible by the generous donation from PotashCorp.

    Participants should only register for one of the Arduino classes.

  • Concerts on 3 - GSO Ensembles

    Our winter concert series returns to brighten the cold winter days. Concerts on 3 will present classical performances every Sunday in February in the Multimedia Department on the 3rd floor. This location will not only provide the listeners with a more relaxed concert setting, but a spectacular winter view as well. Performances will include small group and solo works. Come for a new concert experience this winter at the library.
