School is out, the days are long and we have the whole summer in front of us! Weve already read the book, so lets get comfortable and watch the movie! Were going to do it right, with lots of popcorn, soda and movie candy. Be prepared to fanatically debate/defend your position on Gale v. Peeta, book v. movie and Katniss v. Tris.
Want to take the Summer Reading Club further and get a Create or Play stamp for your passport? Drop-in to write a new book ending or create a book related craft or movie. Do you have a story to tell?
Learn the art of electronic book publishing and be ready to experiment with a variety of media (embedded pictures, music, movies, links) to help tell your tale. In this 7-week program (1st meeting is mandatory, the last is your deadline and the rest are open labs) well focus on helping you craft a strong story and turn it into a multidimensional ebook, downloadable from the librarys website. Please come with a written story (even if its rough).
