Going Green with NPL

PrintPrint

Shop for locally grown produce and other locally made goods at the Northbrook Farmers Market every Wednesday from 7am to 1pm until October 14. The market is located at the corner of Cherry and Meadow.

Looking for recipes to make with your purchases? Take a look at our From Your Farmers Market board on Pinterest for ideas.

Recycle your used greeting cards for a good cause. The library is collecting cards to send to St. Jude’s Ranch – an organization that helps abused and at-risk children. The children will use the covers to make new cards to sell to support the program.

Birthday and Thank You cards are especially needed.

Drop off your cards in the bin by the elevator and stairs in the lobby during the month of June.
