Join us on Saturday, October 12 at 10am for a workshop on how to create simple and green cleaning solutions. Supplies will be provided and you will leave the library with a home-made cleaning solution.

Register online or call Reader Services at 847-272-2958.

Shop for locally grown produce and other locally made goods at the Northbrook Farmers Market every Wednesday from 7am to 1pm until October 9. The market is located at the corner of Cherry and Meadow.

Help us build a community recipe collection by submitting your recipe and a photo to socialmedia@northbrook.info. We will post the recipes on our From Your Farmers Market board on Pinterest.

And see our Cooking from the Farmer Market booklist for more recipe ideas.
