Going Green with NPL

  • Give waste-less gifts such as certificates for massages, pedicures, and restaurants or tickets to a concert or museum exhibit.
  • Shop for unique gifts at antique shops or estate sales.
  • Shop for decorative functional items at places like, Wild Mint, or Hipcycle.
  • Pick eco-friendly stocking stuffers: seed packets, artisanal soap bars, washable snack pouches, or certificates promising to do chores like free babysitting, cooking dinner, etc.

Recycle your old batteries, eyeglasses and cell phones in the new Recycle Center at the east entrance of the library near the cafe.
