Movie and Rental Book Checkout Fees Eliminated

The Library is excited to announce several new changes. Effective May 1, library patrons will no longer have to pay to borrow movies or rental books, which will now be called the Lucky Day collection. There is also no longer a charge for internet cards, scanning, library card replacement, or InterLibrary Loan materials. Additionally, patrons may now place holds on more items than ever before. West Entrance
West Entrance and First Floor Circulation Desk Now Open

The west entrance is now open for all patrons. Additionally, the circulation desk has moved back to its original place on the first floor, and is fully functional.

In addition to Zinio, you now have another source for no-charge digital magazines: Flipster. It's easy to use: on your Internet-connected computer, phone, or tablet, go to our Flipster site, sign in with your library card, and click a magazine to begin reading. Thanks to the Friends of the Northbrook Public Library, you can now print from your Internet connected PC to our printer, located near the 2nd floor Reference Desk.  A copy card must be purchased to release prints.
