Evening with the Author: Rebecca Makkai

On Thursday, September 10 at 7pm, author Rebecca Makkai debut our new Evening with the Author series. She will read from her latest work, answer questions, and sign copies of her books. Books will be available for purchase, courtesy of The Book Bin. Click here for more information.

September is Library Card Sign-Up Month! Sign up for a library card between Septemer 1-30 and you will walk away with a small prize. You'll also be entered for a chance to win an awesome raffle prize! Visit our Circulation Desk on the first floor for details.

Food for Fines
Food for Fines

In September, you can eliminate your overdue fines and benefit those in need by donating nonperishable food items. One food item waives the overdue fine on one item. All food donations will go to the Northfield Township Food Pantry. Please drop off food items at the Circulation Desk.

Thanks to the Friends of the Northbrook Public Library, you can now print from your Internet connected PC to our printer, located near the 2nd floor Reference Desk.  A copy card must be purchased to release prints.
