Sun, 10/03/2010 - 2:00pm

The public library has long been known as “The People’s University.”   Northbrook Public Library enjoys an enviable reputation and community support for its adult education programs.

Did you know that we offered 104 computer classes and taught more than 1,100 adults from September 2009 through June 2010? Each person was taught in our academic-quality computer lab.

We offer free computer classes to Northbrook Public Library cardholders. These classes are taught by experts whose purpose is to help you become more confident when using computers in the library, at work, at home or when looking for a job.

The classes range from basic computer use to how to become a savvy consumer or investor.  We even offer a “Research 101” class for adults who will be entering grad school and need to learn how to conduct scholarly research.  Isn’t it time you took a class?  Review the descriptions of classes that will be offered this fall, and reserve your place beginning Saturday, September 4 at 9am in the Periodicals Room.
