    Calling all young authors and illustrators! Bring your finished story or manuscript to be illustrated and peer reviewed. Illustrate someone else’s story. Learn about book design and the publishing process. Then have your story published by the library for others to check out and admire. Register online or call 847.272.4300. Email completed stories to nbkyouth@northbrook.info or drop them off at the desk.

    Open to those who have not previously participated in the program. Must attend all 4 sessions.
  • Bookworm Club - Dying to Meet You by Kate Klise (Grades 2-3)

    Join us for a fun discussion about the book Dying to Meet You! In this story told mostly through letters, children's book author, I. B. Grumply, gets more than he bargained for when he rents a quiet place to write for the summer.
