  • Mad Scientists - SIPs (Grades 3-5)
    Sunday, July 7, 2013 - 2:00pm
    Youth Services Activity Room

    The madness continues with this monthly hands-on science program. Construct SIPs - sub-irrigated planters - for plants that will grow and grow some more in the Library's green room and at your home. Dress for mess! Call 847.272.4300 to register.

    This program begins promptly at 2:00pm. Latecomers will not be admitted.

    Want to take the Summer Reading Club further and get a Create or Play stamp for your passport? Drop-in to write a new book ending or create a book related craft or movie. We'll have the supplies; you bring the ideas. Completed projects can be displayed in our Create/Play Gallery. For Youth Summer Reading Club participants only.

  • Detective Club

    Join us for some code cracking, secret messaging and other crime-solving activities. Solve a mystery in the library using your sleuthing skills. Need to attend all three sessions.

    This is for patrons who have never attended a Detective Club program.
