The Friends Gift Shop welcomes you!

Meet your library and shopping needs in one easy stop and support your library at the same time. The Friends' Gift Shop is located on the first floor at the west entrance to the library, next to the café. Check our selection of merchandise, which includes gifts for family, friends, children and for your own pleasure. We are especially proud of our offerings of autographed books. Our storekeepers - all Friends volunteers - will help you find just what you need. Remember: Members of the Friends receive a 10% discount.

Who are the Friends of the Northbrook Public Library?
We are a group of people who are proud of our excellent library and are dedicated to helping the library serve the community.

How do the Friends help the library serve the community?
We work to increase public awareness of library resources and services, and assist in fund raising efforts to provide the library with an enhanced collection and improved services. We also support new library services and facilities, and the Freedom to Read as expressed in the American Library Association's Bill of Rights.

How can I learn about the Friends' activities and events?
Look for our column in the library newsletter Latest Edition. We also send mailings to members.
