upon request to preschool, school-age, or community service teachers.

Booktalks and School
Visits
For Northbrook schools, a librarian will come to the
classroom/school library to promote reading, new materials, and/or
library programs. Storytelling visits are made to preschool classrooms.
We will also make appearances at school staff meetings to describe
our services to teachers in detail and answer any questions. Booktalks
and school visits are coordinated by the Youth Services Department
and are by appointment only.
Class Visits to the
Library
Preschool or school classes may visit the library
by making an appointment with the Youth Services Department. Stories,
bibliographic instruction, and/or tours may also be available.
