On November 4, the Park District will begin selling membership passes for the The Northbrook Dog Park at Coast Guard Park. The park is expected to open in late November. The park will open at 7 a.m. and close at sunset. On Mondays and Thursdays, the parkwill open at 9:30 a.m. after maintenance. Access to the dog park will require an annual membership, which will allow unlimited use of the park. The fee is $29 for first dogs, and $15 for additional dogs through June 2014. The yearly fee is $49/$25, starting July 14. Members will receive one dog park tag and one membership ID for entry. The tags must be on the dog's collar, and owners/handlers must wear their ID. Dogs must be at least 6 months old, have proof of current Village of Northbrook dog license, completed Northbrook Dog Park Veterinanrian Vertificiation Form and Completed Northbrook Dog Park Application.
