Make Sure it's Fresh: Select plump, firm, uniform-sized berries. Good blueberries look round and tight without dimples or dents.
Storage: Wash just before serving in basin of cold water, removing twigs, etc., and any "floaters." To freeze, spread on baking sheet and freeze, then pack in self-sealing freezer bags.
