The Illinois General Assembly has voted to change the boundaries of the Congressional and State Legislative districts because of the population changes reflected in the 2010 census. This means that your voting districts and those candidates you can vote for in the November election and in future elections MAY have changed.
If your districts have changed, you should have received a new Voter Registration Card. If you have further questions about your districts, please follow these instructions.
1. Go to www.cookcountyclerk.org/elections
2. Fill in the information in the box in the middle of the page:

1. Click “Go”
2. Click on the button: “Find My Voting Districts” (middle of page)

View your name, township, precinct, and voter registration status below. To see a list of your current representatives, click on "Find My Elected Officials." To see the district for which you will vote beginning in 2012, click on "Find My Voting Districts." Some voting districts have changed due to the 2010 U.S. Census.
These instructions will show the numbers of your new districts. In this example, this voter is in the 9th U.S. Congressional District, and the 9th State of Illinois Senate District:

NOTE: Congressional districts refer to candidates running for election to the U.S. Congress. Senate and Representative districts refer to candidates running for the Illinois General Assembly (Either the Illinois House or the Illinois Senate).
