  • Flights of Fancy Art Show Opening
    Friday, October 9, 2015 - 7:00pm

    Join us for the opening of our 13th and final juried art exhibition! Meet and mingle with the artists, cast your vote for the Viewer's Choice Awards, and enjoy music by guitarist Christopher Laughlin as you enjoy the works of art throughout the library.

    The show contains 65 artworks in all mediums from artists across the nation. Be prepared to be surprised, entertained, and enchanted by Flights of Fancy: Unexpected Works of Whimsy. The show will run October 9-November 20.

  • Marta Szlubowska & Svetlana Belsky - Fine Arts Fall

    Violin and Piano. Works by Paderewski and Szymanowski.
    Violinist Marta Szlubowska is the Concertmistress of the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra in Jackson, MS. She is also a highly-acclaimed soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician.

    Svetlana Belsky, graduate of the Peabody Conservatory and the Manhattan School of Music, is an author of the Palisca Award nominated book Busoni as Pianist . Her recordings of Busoni’s music have been heard on radio stations all over the world.
