  • Jazz/Blues Salon Concert Series - The Fat Babies

    The Fat Babies are a seven piece jazz band interpreting classic styles of the 1920s and 30s. Founded in 2010 by string bass player Beau Sample, its members include Andy Schumm (cornet), John Otto (reeds), Dave Bock (trombone), Jake Sanders (banjo and guitar), Paul Asaro (piano), and Alex Hall (drums). The Fat Babies have two albums out on the Delmark Record label.

    Due to high demand, we are now offering TWO yoga sessions. Attend either the 9:30 session or the 11:00 session. Space in each session is limited to the first 50 people.

    Yoga instructor Olga Rudiak leads a series of yoga sessions for improved physical strength, relaxation and mental clarity. Exercises are done in a chair or standing not on the floor.

    Composer Ron Surace says: "The original Pinocchio text inspired the creation of the music. Songs seemed to leap off the page along with the text."
