Free English and literacy classes at the Northbrook Public Library are conducted by Oakton Community College. For information call 847-635-1426.

Registration takes place at the library before each new semester. To register after a semester has already started, you may come to the library when a class is meeting to speak to a teacher about joining. Please come about 10 minutes before the scheduled class time.

Winter Semester:

Daytime Class:

Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Registration: Wednesday, January 4 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Evening Class:

Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Registration: Wednesday, January 4 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
