Free Pizza!
Free pop and water!
Lots of fun!
More than twenty members in 6th-12th grades from all over Northbrook!
The NPL Teen Advisory Board (TAB) has it all!
The Basics:
Who - Northbrook teens in 6th-12th grade.
What (As in what does the TAB do?) - Helps choose book display themes for The Loft's display area, helps plan the annual Young Adult Summer Reading Club (name, prizes, decorations), participates in a December holiday service project, stars favorite books, gives the Young Adult Librarian input on teen service (magazines, website presence, and more).
When - Meets roughly every 4-6 weeks (6-7 times) during the school year, always (well almost always) on Tuesday from 5-6 p.m.
Where - In the Youth Services Activity Room.
Why - Because you love the library, because you enjoy public service, because participation will look good on college applications.
How (As in how do I join up?) - Watch for upcoming meetings listed on the website calendar, the NPL Facebook page, and in the library newsletter. Then call us at 847-272-4300 to tell us you're attending - that's so we know how much pizza to buy!
