Teen Volunteering (high school)

Every Wednesday in March, we’re offering volunteer hours for high school students in need of just a few more service hours. We’ll have jobs for 5 teens. Register for one of the spots or, if you’re feeling lucky, just stop by the Youth Services Department. Heads up - these won’t be the glamour jobs, think dusting miles of bookshelves, cleaning thousands of legos, and alphabetizing millions books.

Due to high demand, we offer TWO yoga sessions. Attend either the 9:30 session or the 11:00 session. Space in each session is limited to the first 64 people.

Yoga instructor Olga Rudiak leads a series of yoga sessions for improved physical strength, relaxation and mental clarity. Exercises are done in a chair or standing not on the floor.

It's not what you think! A hacker is someone who enjoys building, rebuilding, and modifying software; someone who enjoys testing limits and seeing what is possible. In this Hackers we will be tinkering with Arduino microcontrollers. This program is made possible by the generous donation from PotashCorp.
