Teen Volunteering (high school)

Every Wednesday in January and February, we’re offering volunteer hours for high school students in need of just a few more service hours. We’ll have jobs for 5 teens. Register for one of the spots or, if you’re feeling lucky, just stop by the Youth Services Department. Heads up - these won’t be the glamour jobs, think dusting miles of bookshelves, cleaning thousands of legos, and alphabetizing millions books.

Oakton Literacy Class - Spring 2017

AMC10 Study Group

During this weekly teen-led study group, participants will take a practice AMC 10 under test conditions for 75 minutes and then go over the answers and select solutions. Participants must be in 9th or 10th grade, be enrolled in an honors math class and have taken the AMC8 or AMC10 last year. This group will meet on October 16 and 23, November 6 and 27, December 4, 11, and 18, January 22 and 29, February 5 and 12.
