Is there something around your house in need of fixing or mending - small electrical appliances & gadgets, electronics, lamps, toys, clothing, a bicycle? Help the environment and your community by repairing it instead of tossing it! Bring it to our first Northbrook Repairs where skilled volunteers will do their best to help you repair it, free of charge.

Stop in Pollak Room B on the first floor where staff will direct you where to take your items.

-Your item must be small enough for you to carry.
-Register in-person when you arrive and be prepared to wait with your item.
-Limit 1 item per person at a time. For each additional item, you will return to the end of the line after each item is repaired.
-No drop-offs: You’ll need to be present when we call your name and during the repair.
-Don’t bring anything leaking, dangerous, containing gasoline, or that has a strong odor.
-Registration ends at 4pm; we will not accept items for repair after 4pm.
-We'll do our best, but we cannot guarantee that your object will be fixed.
