Library Board of Trustees Seeks New Member

The Northbrook Public Library seeks a candidate to fill a temporary vacancy on the Library Board. The selected candidate will serve until the next regular election in April of 2017. Applications must be submitted by Monday, July 18.

The Northbrook Public Library Board is composed of seven members; these seven members must be residents of incorporated Northbrook. On average, the trustee position takes a commitment of up to 8-10 hours per month, which includes monthly Board meetings and preparation.

The application packet is available online or may be picked up at the Library’s Reference Desk on the second floor. Please submit completed applications by July 18 to Executive Director Kate Hall in the Library Business Office or by email to khall@northbrook.info.
