High school students who are interested in volunteering this summer are invited to apply to become a Summer High School Volunteer for the chance to gain some real-world experience, earn service hours, and have some fun while helping out at our award-winning library.
In the past, high school volunteers have had the opportunity to help with our Summer Reading program, participate in community gardening, and assist with our Stuffed Animal Sleepover.
Starting Monday, May 1 at 9:00am, interested students can access a volunteer application and information packet at www.northbrook.info/summer-volunteer. The information packet will provide useful details about assignments and volunteering dates.
Please note: all volunteers must be enrolled in high school during the fall of 2023, and applications are due by Monday, May 15.
