Since late August, the Northbrook Public Library has been receiving clerical help from a couple student workers.
In recognition of Winter Reading: Your Family Story, Northbrook resident Judy Armgardt shared her personal story about her family’s connection with the Northbrook Public Library through her childhood and adulthood.
Frances Sales Binder, 88, has been a regular library patron ever since she moved to Northbrook in 1997.
Lily Glaubinger, 16, first learned about coding when she was in fourth grade. It was an experience that planted an abiding interest in computer science.
“But it’s admittedly been a while since I’ve made use of these skills,” she said.
