Join the Conversation: What Does it Mean to be American?

American Creed

We are honored to be one of 50 U.S. public libraries selected to take part in “American Creed: Community Conversation,” a grant program that invites the community to consider what America’s ideals and identity ought to be through a series of programs and events this summer.

Northbrook and the American Creed: A Community Panel and Discussion

Thursday, July 25, 7:00-8:15pm, Auditorium

We invite you to join us for this special community conversation featuring Village President Sandy Frum, Historical Society President Judy Hughes, Northbrook Civic Foundation President Matt Settler, and business owner Harley Korman, as they discuss Northbrook's past, present, and future as well as ways we can help shape our community.

American Creed: Community Conversations is a project of Citizen Film in partnership with the American Library Association and the National Writing Project, with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
