Although you can still access our mobile website on many devices, you will not be able to access certain features available in the app, like checking out items and accessing a digital version of your library card.

The app uses your phone's camera to scan the item's barcode to use the Self-Checkout and Scan an ISBN features. If you do not want to allow access, you can also enter the number below the barcode.
How do I use my digital library card to check out at the self-check stations?
Tap the "My Library Card" item to access your digital library card, which you can use to scan at the self-check machine. If the machine isn't reading your digital barcode, you may need to turn up the brightness on your device.
Can I set up a username instead of typing in my library card number?
Yes. Access your account on our website at www.northbrook.info/account and then click the Create Username link. After you create a username, you can use it to log into the app, register for virtual programs, and access eResources by entering your username and password.
