This application is for teenagers grades 7-12 looking for one time service opportunities or to reach a short-term volunteer goal. If you are interested in a continuing volunteer opportunity, please fill out the ongoing volunteer application.
Teen Advisory Board
Teen Advisory Board is a great opportunity if you are in grades 6-12 and need more service hours for NHS, are interested in civic engagement and social responsibility, or really just love the library and like helping out.
We plan teen programs, decorate the Loft, and help out with library programs while eating pizza and earning service hours. Attendance at every meeting is NOT required, but we do hope you come to as many as you can! Click on the meeting dates below to register:
Meeting dates may change
All programs are held in the Pollak Room on the 1st floor, unless otherwise indicated.
Court Ordered Community Service
Northbrook residents who have been ordered to complete at least 10 hours of volunteer service may be able to do them at the library. Please call or email to schedule an interview with the volunteer coordinator at 847-272-2611 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Persons under the age of 18 need the signature of a parent or guardian to perform service hours at the library.
