Enjoy award-winning short films from around the world at the library on Saturday, November 15 at 2:00pm
Join us in the Auditorium for a truly special family experience, the 9th Annual Northbrook International Children’s Film Festival. At this special event, kids and caregivers can enjoy a curated selection of award-winning short films from around the world, vote for their favorite, and then have the chance to meet some of the film's directors!
Co-hosted by the Chicago-based International Children’s Media Center, the live festival screening will showcase eleven captivating films from eight different countries: Japan, U.K., France, Iran, Belgium, Spain, and the U.S. These unique films are sure to inspire the imaginations of children and adults alike. These short films will appeal to children ages 5-10, but even older kids will find something to love in this international mini-festival.
Advance registration is required for all Library programs. You do not need a library card to register.
