Libby offers access to thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks on internet browsers or on mobile devices that support the Libby app. You can either download the Libby app from the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Amazon Appstore, or access Libby with a browser. Once you log into Libby, select Northbrook Public Library as your library and enter your library card number (with no spaces).  


Access hundreds of full-text literary journals and over 200,000 poems, short stories, classic novels, plus literary criticism articles and essays covering all genres and time periods.  Also examine, plot summaries, synopses, author biographies and interviews, and over 1 million book reviews.  Available reference texts include, Beacham's Research Guide to Biography and Criticism, the Oxford Illustrated History of English Literature, Merriam-Webster's Encyclopedia of Literature and Magill On Literature Plus.  Includes access to EBSCO’s Literary Reference Source eBook Collection.  (Select titles may either be viewed via internet browser or as downloadable PDFs)
