Wherever you are in your academic journey, the library is here to support your homework and research needs. Your library card lets you check out as many materials as you need, reserve study rooms in advance, and take advantage of all of our eResources, including live online homework help, practice tests, and more. Get a library card.

Here are some more ways the library can help you reach your academic goals throughout the year:

  • Get a Library Card: All students ages 18 or under living in Northbrook (including unincorporated Northbrook) can get a library card at no cost.
  • Pro Tip: After you get your library card, install our app to access your digital library card, reserve a study room, use eResources, and a lot more.
  • Get Free Printing at the Library: Each school year, all Northbrook students (ages 5-18) automatically get a $20 printing credit added to their Northbrook Library card.
  • Reserve a Study Room: Looking for a perfect place for group study? We have 18 study rooms on the 2nd floor that can be reserved for up to 2 hours a day with your Northbrook Library card.
  • Use our Quiet Study Room on the 2nd floor: It's ideal for focused reading and studying. It's always open, and you don't need a reservation.
