Computers are available on a walk-in basis for 2 hours with two 30-minute extensions if no one is waiting.

Laptops

You can visit the Reference desk on the 2nd floor to check out an HP Laptop for 3 hours to use in the library. You must be in high school or older, with a school ID or state ID/driver's license that matches your registered library card in good standing. We also offer MacBook Pros to check out for Northbrook cardholders.

We have an updated microfilm machine that can read microfilm and microfiche. The machine will crop articles and includes scanning and email functionality.

Equipment for Visual Enhancement

A computer for the visually impaired with software that magnifies text and images is located in the 2nd floor Reference area.

Printing, Copying, Scanning, Faxing

Copiers/Printers
