A Roku Stick is a streaming device that gives you access to the library’s collection of digital movie and television content.  This content is updated often.  In order for you to use the stick, you will need the following:

  • HDTV with HDMI connection
  • High-speed wireless internet

The library currently has 6 Roku Sticks (4 with adult titles and 2 with childrens/family titles) that you can check out and take home. Each case includes:

  • Roku Stick
  • Roku Remote Control
  • AC Plug Adapter
  • Micro-to-USB Cable
  • HDMI Extender
  • Set of printed instructions and rules

The checkout period is 21 days (up to 3 renewals, if there are no holds). You must have a library card in good standing. Rokus are not available for ILL and must be checked-out and returned to the Northbrook Library Library.
