Students in grades 9-12 who are interested in volunteering at the library this summer are invited to apply to become a Summer High School Volunteer for the chance to gain some real-world experience, earn service hours, and have fun while helping out at the library.
High school students can apply to volunteer as a program assistant, create fun videos, help with book displays, work at the Summer Reading desk, and more.
Interested students should download our Volunteer Information Packet at www.northbrook.info/summer-volunteer. The information packet provides useful details about assignments and volunteering dates, as well as the link to apply online.
Please note: all volunteers must be enrolled in high school during the fall of 2026. We'll start accepting online application submissions on Friday, May 1.
