The Chicago-Based trio will perform jazz classics and standards from the Great American Songbook.

Starting Monday, August 3, you will be able to preview our new catalog, which will offer improved searching, easier browsing, accessibility upgrades, and new community features. Because this is a new system, you will need to complete a brief, one-time registration process using your library card number and password the first time you log in. During the preview phase, our current catalog will remain available, and you can switch between the current and new versions.

Last Thursday evening, members of the Library staff, Board, and Rotary Club of Northbrook celebrated the installation of a Peace Pole near the Northbrook Public Library sign. Reflecting Northbrook’s diversity, the Peace Pole displays the phrase "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in English, Greek, Hebrew, Korean, Mandarin, Polish, Russian, and Spanish. The languages were selected based on demographic data and local schools.

Kids are invited to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffie friend for a morning of crafts, stories, and fun on Friday, 6/26, from 10-11am.
