For the fourth year in a row, we've been awarded a 5 Star rating from the Library Journal Index of Public Library Service! Out of more than 9,000 libraries in the country, we are one of only 10 libraries across the nation in our budget category to receive the highest rating, which is based on our return on investment to the community.

Northbrook Public Library is partnering with the League of Women Voters to invite you to attend “Fact, Fiction, or Opinion? How to Become a Well Informed Voter and Citizen,” an expert panel discussion on the importance of media literacy and finding unbiased, factual information on Tuesday, March 14 from 7:00-8:00pm. With Oscar season upon us, it’s a great time to catch up (or perhaps refresh your memory) on some of the 2023 award contenders. Join us in the Auditorium to enjoy a different critically acclaimed film on the big screen each Wednesday in March at 2:00pm or 7:00pm.
