Position Description

We are seeking a dedicated, community-minded Security Supervisor to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our patrons and staff. 

Teens are Invited to Connect with Local Leaders and Organizations at our Teen Volunteer Fair on September 19

Northbrook Public Library is hosting a Teen Volunteer Fair on Saturday, September 19, from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Students in grades 7-12 are invited to drop by to connect with local leaders and civic organizations to explore rewarding volunteer opportunities. The free, drop-in event will feature representatives from a wide range of community organizations ready to share how teens can get involved, build meaningful experiences, and give back to the community.

Partial Temporary Parking Lot Closures on Saturday, August 22

On Saturday, August 22, portions of our parking lot may be temporarily closed while the Village performs tree work near the river. During the work, driving pathways through the parking lot may be different than usual. Please use caution, follow any posted signs or directions, and drive slowly through the parking lot while work is underway. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as this work is completed.
