Each year, we invite Northbrook High School students studying for finals to head to the library for brain-boosting snacks throughout the day (while supplies last) and pizza at set times (see schedule below). Students are also welcome to bring their own snacks.

The Northbrook Public Library is accepting proposals for Outsource Building Management Services.

The Northbrook Public Library (“Library”) is seeking proposals to contract with a vendor or vendors (“Vendor”) with experience providing building management and support services to public buildings. Services will include but are not limited to the responsibilities outlined in the RFP Scope of Services section.

Northbrook resident and lifelong sewer Julie Kay is using her passion for civic engagement and design to help get out the vote this election season. With the help of the staff and equipment in the Collaboratory, Northbrook Public Library’s makerspace, she has embroidered approximately 30 upcycled jackets, spreading democracy fashionably.
